This Week in Football
Hey Fellas,
Just a quick reminder that training is on tomorrow at the same time and place, 6pm at Kingcrest Park, corner of Knight St and King Edward Ave. With good weather and no Canucks game on, I would like to see everyone who can attend to do so. We really need to start seeing good solid numbers at training on a consistent basis, as the halfway point of the season is approaching, and we need to gel together as a team, which begins on the training track.
This Saturday the 25th April we are playing for the prestigious BC Footy Cup, in a tournament out at Burnaby’s home field in Langley against the Eagles, Cougars, the Seattle Grizzlies, and the Calgary Kangaroos.
The Saints’ first game starts at 10:50 am, so could all players be at the ground by 10:00 am to give us plenty of time to prepare for a big day of footy! More details to come.
One last thing, the committee would like any outstanding membership money to be paid as soon as possible. Full season membership is $150 which includes your shorts, socks, a shirt, bar discounts, match fees and insurance. Please bring cash or a cheque to training tomorrow, or to the BC Footy Cup on the weekend.
See you on the track,
Cheers,
Wardy

Firstly I’d like to thank everyone for their efforts on Saturday! It was a great day for football, unfortunately things didn’t all go our way, however there were still plenty of positives that we can take out of the game, and a few things we can work on as well!
Although we have a couple of weeks off, it is vital that we still get everyone down to training on Wednesday evening. Training will still be held at Kingcrest Park (King Edward (25th) Ave and Knight St, starting at 6pm, and the weather will hopefully be a little kinder to us than the atrocious conditions we endured last week!
Also a gentle reminder, memberships are still due for those who haven’t paid, and if you would like to pay at training this week, you would be more than welcome to!
Thanks for your time, see you on Wednesday,
Cheers,
Wardy
